Volunteer at Grillstock

We’ve got lots of opportunities to volunteer at the festival, from helping out on the gate and the BBQ competition to working the bars. All volunteers get some food & drink provided and a weekend pass for them and 2 friends. Please contact mel@grillstock.co.uk if you would like to get involved!

What does my ticket include?

Your ticket includes entrance to the Festival for the day or whole weekend (as applicable) and includes all music entertainment. It also gives you access to sample the competition food from some of the King of the Grill rounds and the BBQ Academy master classes. Please note these are based on a first come first served basis so arrive early to avoid disappointment.

What’s included in a Pit Crew ticket?

Pit crew tickets include 4 free drinks, two free meals and a £15 merch voucher. As well as entrance all weekend and to the friday night party.

Kids ticket policy

Children 0 – 4 years do not need a ticket.

Children 5 – 15 years need a Child Ticket in order to attend.

Teenagers 16 and over must have a standard Day or Weekend Ticket. All under 16s must be accompanied by an adult over 18 years old and this adult must remain on site with the child.

Age restrictions apply. Proof of age/ID may be required.

Grillstock Festival may contain acts unsuitable for children.

We provide kids entertainment at the festival.

Re-Entry Policy

You will be allowed to leave and re-enter the festival as long as you have a valid wristband.

How much food is on-site?

LOTS! We have many catering stands on site that will be offering great food including BBQ, Jamaican, South American Churrasco, Gourmet Hotdogs, Mexican, Artisan Burgers, Churros, Pancakes, Ice cream and much much more including some vegetarian options. You will also find plenty of the exhibitors wanting to show off their latest BBQ kit, and will be more than happy for you to sample their cooking!

Can I bring my own food and drink?

Unless you require certain food or drinks for medical reasons, no food or drink from outside is allowed on-site. Bag searches are carrie out at the entrance.

Can I bring my dog?

No. Given the number of visitors and activities that are taking place we’re afraid Grillstock needs to be a dog free zone. Guide dogs are of course welcome.

Is there camping on site?

Being a city centre event there is no camping on site.

Is the site wheelchair accessible?

Yes, the site is in the city centre and on hard ground so very wheelchair friendly – there are also disabled facilities available.

There is no parking available on-site but there are a few car parks close by.

Prohibited items & Bag checks

For festival attendees welfare and safety, illegal substances will not be allowed on-site, this includes nitrous oxide gas. Those caught in possession of, or dealing in illegal substances will be processed in accordance with the law.

We do not permit any of the following items anywhere on site: portable laser equipment and pens, spray cans, fireworks and flares, Chinese lanterns, animals, alcohol or anything that we consider could be used as a weapon.

It is a condition of entry that you agree to be searched when you enter the site and whenever you enter the performance arena. If you are found to be carrying prohibited items then we may confiscate them or remove you from the festival.
