Weber is all fired up for Grillstock
Weber – the UK’s number one barbecue brand – is pleased to announce that it has signed up to be the headline sponsor of Grillstock – the UK’s hottest BBQ and music festival - for the fourth year. And news hot off the grill is Weber’s sponsorship of the BBQ Academy.
Weber is passionate when it comes to barbecuing – and with over 60 years experience continues to lead the way in barbecue innovation and quality. Firmly of the belief that barbecuing is an all year round activity, Weber aims to excite and inspire people with its products and recipes.
In the BBQ Academy, Weber expert chef, Dan Cooper, will be cooking up a storm demonstrating a wide range of delicious and mouth-watering recipes, arming Grillstock visitors with top tips and techniques they can then try at home. Dan has toured the UK and Ireland in the Weber Experience BBQ Roadshow teaching people to grill, roast and bake the Weber way and he’s cooked for the stars including Brian Ferry, Lily Allen and Alex James. Dan is fanatical about barbecuing and takes grilling to another level. The humble sausage and burger need to step aside when Dan gets busy with his own twist on American style barbecuing - 18hr low and slow briskets, fire baked pizza with chargrilled artichokes, sticky saffron spatchcock chicken to name but a few. Dan will also be demonstrating wood plank cooking incorporating dishes like the ultimate mac ‘n’ cheese with Mountain Comté, coal baked Camembert and griddled Raclette with charlottes.
