Ray Lampe AKA Dr. BBQ has been cooking in American BBQ cook-offs since 1982. In those 30 years Ray has cooked in hundreds of contests including fifteen American Royals, Five Jack Daniel’s, Memphis in May, and dozens of other major championships winning awards at all of them. In 2011 alone Ray won two Grand Championships in the US. He’s also written six cookbooks all about the culture, history, and the way to cook real American BBQ.
In “The Ultimate Pitmaster Class” Dr. BBQ will teach you everything you need to know to win a BBQ contest whether it’s in the UK or Lynchburg, Tennessee. He’ll show you how to trim, season, smoke, and present chicken, ribs, pork butt, and beef brisket EXACTLY like he did it to win hundreds of awards. You’ll see, smell, touch, and eat true Championship BBQ in a no rush atmosphere. The class will not end until every single question has been answered.
